Family Saturday Series, Nature Sensory Walk, Bachechi Open Space

  • Bachechi Open Space 9521 Rio Grande Boulevard Northwest Albuquerque, NM, 87114 United States (map)

Family Nature and Forest Bathing Walk

Join us for a family-friendly nature and forest sensory immersion experience! Take a pause, breathe in the fresh air, and reconnect with the natural world. This will be a gentle walk where we’ll slow down, notice, and immerse ourselves in the landscape of Bachechi.

What to Bring

Please wear or bring comfortable layers of clothing (raincoat if looks necessary)—whatever New Mexico’s summer weather brings, we’ll be ready to meet it with ease. You may also want to wear sunscreen and bring water.

What to Expect on a Walk

A forest bathing or nature therapy walk is not a hike or an educational activity. It’s a slow, gentle experience that invites you to be fully present in nature.

Through simple guided exercises, you'll slow down, awaken your senses, and connect with the natural world in a grounding, restorative way.
